1) Expert Consultation- Our clinicians provide expert consult and second opinion consultations. We treat most types of psychiatric presentations, and have particular expertise in the area of neurodevelopmental disorders, including psychosis (early detection, intervention and treatment), autism, ADHD, and other complex presentations.
2) Referrals For Ongoing Treatment- Call practice directly to make an appointment and/or set a time for a phone discussion with the clinician to whom you wish to refer. You may also contact the clinician directly, if you prefer. Depending on your preference, we are happy to speak with you before, or after, we see your patient/referral.
We strongly believe that all professionals need ongoing clinical supervision, and all of our clinicians provide clinical peer supervision and receive their own supervision. If you may want to work with one of our clinicians, you may contact them directly or call our office to learn more about setting this up.
We believe that all people should have access to good mental health care, but we are very far from achieving that goal, even in NYC (where mental health services are more abundant than in other parts of the country). We need more practices that can meet the individual needs of our diverse communities, and if we can be helpful in sharing our model, we are happy to provide supervision to help you build your own practice.
