Empowering clinicians to create spaces of wellness
We empower clinicians to be healers, who in turn help us reach our mission – to empower clients from all communities to live healthy, fulfilling lives.
We create space for the intersectional selves of our clinicians by investing in them, encouraging them to develop their interests, and teaching them to pay it forward.
Discover wellness
When our clinicians recognize and experience wellness, they can be positioned to help their clients discover it too. We help our clinicians maintain a healthy relationship with work by limiting caseloads, setting aside time for administrative tasks, offering frequent supervision, and checking in frequently to avoid burn-out. Our clinicians are the backbone of our New York City-based practice, and we believe that nurturing them is integral in maintaining a sustainable practice.
Belonging and connection
Great work doesn’t happen in silos. Instead, it takes place when we all feel we are a part of something larger than ourselves. We work together with purpose and solidarity, all the while caring and making space for for each member of our work family.
Competency and agency
While we mentor you in developing expertise, we give you the freedom to practice the way you see fit for your clients. When you need supervision, we’re there, just as you’ll be there for the next clinician who needs your support.
Living with respect & dignity
We respect your personhood and value each part of your intersectional identity. We see you, we hear you, and we appreciate what you have to say.
